Rights and Obligations of an Honorary Member
An Honorary Member, shall at all times, have the following rights and obligations:-
Rights:
- Liability & dividends based on shares contributed.
- Right to attend AGM & present at AMC; BOC by invitation.
- Business priority & use of facilities with BOC approval.
- Limited access to financial reports.
- Joint ventures allowed with BOC consent.
Obligations:
- Uphold the Cooperative’s name & interests.
- Follow By-Laws & Rules.
- Fulfill responsibilities to the Cooperative.
- No unauthorized use of the Cooperative’s name. – Prioritize Cooperative in business ventures.
- Honor commitments as an Honorary Member.
